An accident took place near Block 846 Yishun Ring Road on 4 September at about 2.55pm, involving a ComforDelGro taxi and a GrabFood delivery rider.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force confirmed the accident via a statement, saying that they were alerted to the traffic accident.
The Singapore Police Force also confirmed the accident, saying that they were alerted to it at about 2.53pm, and added that a 61-year-old male rider suffered minor injuries.
The injured food delivery rider refused conveyance to the hospital.
Rider had rear-ended taxi
ComfortDelGro’s group chief branding and communications officer, Tammy Tay, said that the taxi was stationary when it was rear-ended by the delivery rider.
She added that the taxi driver was uninjured and that ComfortDelGro is currently helping the police with their investigations.
