A huge brawl broke out in the wee hours of 14 September outside Peace Centre along Sophia Road, reportedly involving about 15 people.
The Singapore Police Force were alerted to the fight at about 3.35am, and a 35-year-old was arrested for using insulting language against a public servant.
A 30-year-old man also sustained minor injuries in the fight, and refused conveyance to the hospital.
A video of the 15-men fight emerged online on Facebook, showing a large group of people throwing punches and straight brawling outside the mall.
It is unclear what sparked off the fracas, and at the time of writing, police investigations are currently still ongoing.
Potential penalties
According to Chapter 224 of the Penal Code, anyone who disturbs public peace by fighting in public is guilty of committing an affray.
Upon conviction, offenders could face a jail term of up to one year and/or a fine of up to $5,000.
According to Chapter 321 of the Penal Code, anyone who performs an act that causes hurt to a person is guilty of Voluntarily Causing Hurt.
Upon conviction, offenders could face a jail term of up to 3 years and/or a fine of up to $5,000.
