A woman had brought her Shiba Inu out for a walk in Bukit Panjang on 13 October when she got hit by a motorcycle, which startled her pet who immediately ran away.
The incident happened in the morning of 13 October at Bangkit Road in Bukit Panjang.
The woman’s friend, Christina Wisley, shared on the Lost and Found Pets in Singapore’s Facebook group, appealing for information on the lost dog.
She said “Hi. My friend got hit by a motorcycle at Bangkit Rd this morning and her dog a Shiba Inu ran off. If anybody has seen him please contact me. My friend has since come back from the hospital but she cannot leave the house as she has a broken collarbone. I’ll attach a photo of him and my dog.”
Footage of the missing Shiba Inu also emerged on the SGRV Facebook Page, showing the dog dashing across the road at about 6.21am.
Cars were seen slowing down to avoid hitting the little doggo, as netizens shared sightings of the dog at different locations.
