A Malaysian couple was on their routine journey heading to Singapore for work when they met with a fatal accident on 17 November.
The accident h happened at about 6.44 am along Permas, Johor; and the man was discovered by passing motorcyclists lying in the middle of the road, according to China Press.
They called an ambulance for help but the man had already died by then, and his wife was sent to the hospital with a broken finger.,
She has since regained consciousness.
The South Johor Bahru District Police said that they received reports of the accident at about 6.50 am on that day, and suspect a black Toyota had hit the couple in a hit-and-run accident.
Police investigations are ongoing.
Police chief ACP Raub Selamat said that the couple stopped their motorcycle at a traffic light when the truck hit them after making a right turn into their lane.
The driver allegedly fled the scene after running over the couple and is currently still at large.
