i’m a singaporean. after working 4 years at a company that wont give me increment or bonus, i decided to accept a job that give me a high salary… until i realise the place is toxic.
so i just started working in a school as a centre admin and all the teachers were nice except for the principle. they treat me nicely since i’m new but the way they treat the other admin… it was horrible. their demands was too much for a single person to do. i try to help the other admin as much as i can until i learn that the other admin is going to leave by the end of the month. this gives me so much anxiety as there was an incident that the admin was doing their work, the principle screenshot the cctv she was watching from and scolded her, “why are you sitting down only?!! walk around and watch the kids!!!”
once the other admin leaves, im going to be alone and im sure i’ll be treat the same way the other admin was treated. there was also one red flag i heard from a parent, “all the admins keeps on changing” and i see the reason why.
i’m under probation and my notice is 1 month (i know it’s ridiculously long) and i’ve only been working in this job for a week. i’m going to send in my resignation letter. no matter how much they would beg me.
so should i even put this job in my resume when finding for a new job? if i should put it down in my resume, how can i explain that the environment of the job is toxic? please help.
