I went over budget so my husband confiscated everything
I wanted to restock on some of my usual items at Sephora. Since I knew what I wanted I told my husband how much it would be and asked if it was okay. He handles everything financially. He told me it was fine.
I bought three more items than I planned. I saw a hair product and lip gloss I wanted and I bought my daughter one of the lip glosses too. It was thoughtless and greedy.
My husband sent me a text saying we would talk when he’s home. I felt sick with regret. When he did he asked me about the charge. I apologized and told him I had no excuse. He told me to give him the bag. He said he was confiscating it for now.
He said he works hard to provide for us and allow me luxuries and I disrespected him. He’s 100% right.
I went to take a bath and I can’t stop crying. I feel terrible. I’ll have to find a way to make it up to him.
