Twitter user @RobDenBleyker shared how he ordered a McDonald’s cheeseburger via DoorDash (a food ordering and delivery platform in the US similar to Singapore’s GrabFood and Foodpanda).
He ordered a “nothing” burger, which is essentially a cheeseburger with special requests such as “no buns, no meat, no cheese, no onions, no pickles, no mustard, no ketchup, no salt”, basically “nothing”.
Upon receipt of his order, the DoorDasher (the food delivery rider) messaged him and said that the restaurant was confused as to what he wanted on his order.
Rob shared that he didn’t reply and eventually his order arrived.
McDonald’s followed his instruction and sent him a “nothing” burger, with just the burger wrapper inside a paper bag.
Rob even tipped the rider $6, alongside the $9 for the burger and delivery cost.
