Do I (23F) tell the person I’m seeing (24M) I have money
I (23F) recently jumped back into dating after a long dry spell and I’ve been seeing somebody for a few months (24M) and things have been going really well.
This being said, I’m having trouble navigating a specific situation.
Just over a year ago a very close family member passed away out of the blue and I inherited a significant amount of money.
To be clear, the family member was not rich, it was an accumulation of their pensions and life insurance which ended up being just over half a million.
I never grew up with this amount of money and to be honest have found it a pretty weird thing to deal with but I’ve tried to do my best, employing a financial advisor and infesting in stocks etc.
The only thing is that I don’t know if this is something I should tell the person I’m seeing and if so, how do I do it? I really like them, and don’t want mess it up by saying too much or too little.
