HUSBAND REFUSED TO LET WIFE DRIVE CAUSE CAR ALWAYS GET NEW SCRATCHES

I’ve been married for 12 years now and my wife has always been adamant about wanting to drive. I, however, have never let her behind the wheel of my car.

Why? Well, it’s pretty simple — she’s a terrible driver.

I’m not sexist, but statistically speaking, women are more likely to get into an accident than men. In fact, according to the latest statistics available, women are twice as likely to get into a car accident than men. That’s why I’ve always been so adamant about not letting her drive.

Not only is she more likely to get into an accident, but she also tends to scratch up the car. To put it bluntly, she’s just not all that careful when it comes to driving. She’s always in a rush and tends to take corners too tight or go too fast. This has resulted in the car getting scratches and dents on a regular basis.

My wife is always asking me why I don’t let her drive, and I always tell her the same thing — because I don’t want her to get into an accident and because I don’t want her to scratch up the car. She doesn’t like hearing it, but it’s the truth.

I always tell her that if she’s really that desperate to drive, then she should get her own car. But she always says that she doesn’t have the money to buy a car and that it’s too much of a hassle. I understand where she’s coming from, but I still don’t think it’s worth the risk of letting her drive my car.

So, for the past 12 years, I’ve been the sole driver of our car. It’s a huge hassle at times, as I’m always the one having to drive her places. But I’d rather be the one to drive than to risk her getting into an accident or scratching up the car.

I know there are some people who think I’m being sexist by not letting her drive, but I don’t think that’s the case at all. I’m simply trying to protect our car and keep us both safe. I think any responsible husband would do the same.

’m just trying to do what’s best for my wife and myself. I love her and I want to keep her safe. I don’t want her to get into an accident or to scratch up the car. That’s why I refuse to let her drive — and I’m not going to change my mind anytime soon.
