Another woman was seen in a photo lying down on the drainage area beside the spring and relaxing like she was inside a sauna, “enjoying” the hot water vapour.

The first woman decked in a blue shirt and red shorts, was seen washing her hair with the hot running water using a bowl.

She was also seen putting one of her feet on the basin’s ledge, with the area being marked as a station for cooking eggs using the spring water.

The second woman was seen in the photo lying down on the drainage area and taking in the hot water vapour, as she massaged her own head.

According to the NParks guidelines, the Sembawang Hot Spring is only meant for soaking feet, and no other body parts are allowed to be washed, including clothes and other items.

The station for cooking eggs, is as its name implies, only meant for the cooking of eggs and not washing of hair.

NParks previously mentioned back in 2021 that only eggs are allowed to be cooked at the Sembawang Hot Springs, because other food items could pollute the public waterways.
