A tourist van that was ferrying Singaporeans in Malaysia, got into a 4-vehicle crash in Johor on the last day of the March school holidays (19 March), resulting in 12 people being injured.
The accident happened on 19 March at about 5.15pm in the evening, along the North-South Expressway in Johor, heading south, with the tourist van believed to have been sending Singaporean travellers home at the end of the school holidays.

The two other vehicles involved in the accident were a couple of SUVs, a Mazda CX-30 and a Honda HR-V.
The Muar district police said that the bus was travelling towards Johor Bahru from Malacca on the left lane when it hit the tour van that was in front, resulting in a chain collision – the van then hit the back of the Mazda which hit the Honda ahead of it.
All 12 Singaporeans inside the van were injured, including one who was severely injured, according to the police.
The driver of the bus fetching 28 passengers also sustained minor injuries while the passengers all escaped unscathed.
