Following reports of a group of diners who racked up about $275 worth of bills at Smoobar but left without paying, another F&B outlet came out and shared that the same individuals had also patronised their restaurant and ate and drank without paying.
Jyu Gae Bistro posted a statement on Facebook saying that the same people had dine-and-dashed at their outlet, leaving without paying their bill of $289.98.
Two of the men had purportedly told the bistro staff members that they were going out for a smoke break and would return to pay their bill, but ultimately never came back.
Here is what they said

Hello friends, we apologize for taking up your valuable time.
Due to the busy nature of our bistro, we sometimes discover that patrons have skipped out on their bills after a delay. In this particular case, the amount skipped out on was 𝐒𝐆𝐃 𝟐𝟖𝟗.𝟗𝟖. The attached photo shows the individuals who had skipped out on their bill.
On March 11th, these two customers had told our staff that they were stepping outside for a smoke break and would be back to settle their bill, but they never returned.
Initially, we thought that they might have simply forgotten about the bill as we have always believed in giving people the benefit of the doubt and second chances, and waited for them to return to foot their bill.
However, we came across a post on SMÖÖbar (SMÖÖbar]) last night that revealed that these two individuals are habitual offenders who intentionally skip out on their bills.
𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐮𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥. After verification with SMÖÖbar, we have identified the two individuals as *name redacted* and *name redacted*.
We will not be letting this slide. We do not tolerate dine-and-dashers, and will be turning this matter over to the authorities. Intentionally skipping out on a bill is an act which must be held accountable.
Furthermore, we hope that by sharing this post with the public, we can prevent more businesses from falling victim to these scammers.
Thank you for your attention and thank you, SMÖÖbar for sharing!
