An accident involving 6 vehicles took place on the morning of 21 April along the Central Expressway (CTE) heading towards the city, with 4 motorcyclists being conveyed to the hospital.
The incident was captured on the dashcam of another car that was driving behind at the time.
A black Mazda was seen in the video switching lanes from the rightmost lane without due care, just as a row of about 4 motorcyclists were passing.
The Mazda then inexplicably knocked down all 4 motorcyclists, as well as hitting another car on its left.
The Singapore Police Force said that they were alerted to an accident that took place along the CTE heading towards AYE on 21 April at about 7.15 am, involving 2 cars and 4 motorcyclists.
They said that three male motorcyclists between the ages of 28 and 43 and a 25-year-old female motorcyclist were conveyed to the hospital conscious.
A 43 year old male car driver and a 33 year old female car driver are also assisting the police with their investigations, which are underway.

- Lesson for all rider, slow down and safe distance when heavy traffic
- Lesson for all drivers, other people use the road too, quit tailgating
- Very sad to say, lots of PH drivers rushing n driving without due care. Always be on alert n do lots of defensive driving to avoid accidents
- Yet more evidence that cars are the primary cause of injuries and deaths. PMDs and cyclists are angels in comparison.
- This one seems like no check mirror + no check blind spot. There was clearly no space to do any lane change, three bikes plus car were affected. I can infer that this driver is also not accustomed to driving in peak hour traffic.
- One person mistake & so many suffered !!!
- Blind Driver!! Damn!! Hope all the rider OK..
