Upcoming National Day Parade (NDP) and Preview Show tickets will be available for application starting next Monday (May 29), according to the NDP 2023 executive committee.
Singapore citizens and permanent residents have the opportunity to apply for two, four, or six tickets to attend the parade on August 9 or one of the two preview shows on July 22 and July 29. The application process can be completed either on the official NDP website or by scanning a provided QR code, which will grant access to the application form. The application period will end at noon on June 12.
To ensure fairness, an electronic balloting system will be employed to select successful applicants. Tickets will not be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.
In order to prevent fraudulent attempts at obtaining personal information, the executive committee strongly advises applicants to only utilize the official links and sources provided for the application process and avoid filling out forms from unverified sources.
It is important to note that each applicant will only have one chance in the ballot. Only the most recent submission will be considered final, with all previous entries being excluded from the selection process, as clarified by the executive committee.
Additionally, it is emphasized that each ticket is valid for only one spectator, and every child, including infants carried in arms, must possess a valid ticket for entry.
Successful applicants will receive email notifications between June 23 and June 28. It is crucial for recipients to be cautious and verify that emails are sent from the address [email protected] to avoid potential scams or phishing attempts, as highlighted by the executive committee.
The NDP 2023 will take place at the Padang, marking its return to the venue since 2020. Moreover, celebrations will also be held in various heartland locations on the weekend prior to the parade, specifically on August 5 and August 6. These celebrations will be hosted at the stadiums in Bedok, Jurong West, Toa Payoh, Woodlands, as well as Our Tampines Hub.
Colonel Terence Ho, the exco chairman, described this year’s NDP theme as “Onward as One.” The theme aims to encourage Singaporeans to embrace a confident and united approach in building a shared future.
