On 26/9 for gathering fellow gang members to beat up a rival gang members with lethal arms was a senior member of a gang sentenced to jailed for 9 months.
Abdul Rahman bin Abobakar, 51, implored guilty to one charge of illegal gathering with a deadly weapon at the State Courts. The gang which he was part of 303 belong to the 108 group operating Singapore holding the rank of senior member joining them in 1987.
It is reported that the gathered at Coffee shop in Bedok North Street 3 as they had an ongoing dispute with a rival member. When they could find the gang member the moved on to a bigger coffee shop which they spotted a group of Malay youths and question them whether they belong to any gang where they replied nope.
Alimon tugged a long knife across the floor which made the other people at the second coffee shop afraid prompting one of the customer to call the police hotline to lodged a “gang fight”
The 303 gang member then threaten the same group of Malay youth a second time where one of the member put a samurai sword against the neck of the youth. The sword was withdrawn only after the other member asked him to. They continue to search for Omega gang members but left before the police arrived.
Four other members of the gang have already been send to prison over the occurrence.
Alimon, 49, was imprisoned 12 months and penalised with a fine of $6,000, while 56-year-old Ibrahim Jantan and 29-year-old Akmal Ahmad were imprisoned for nine months each. Ashraf Raffiee, 23, was imprisoned for eight months.
