As a Singaporean, I have always been proud of nasi lemak — the fragrant rice dish served with a variety of sides.
It’s a staple of our cuisine and a beloved national dish. But lately, I’ve been thinking that maybe it should be renamed to sound more atas so that tourists will be more likely to try it.

It’s something that tourists rarely try. I think that’s a shame, because I think they’re missing out on a delicious dish.
Recently, I’ve been thinking that maybe nasi lemak should be renamed to sound more high class and sophisticated.
I think that if it had a more upscale name, it would attract more tourists and make them more likely to try it.
I think it would also be a good idea to add some more descriptive words to the name to make it sound even more interesting.
I think a name like “Fragrant Coconut Rice Delight” would be a great way to draw attention to the dish and make it sound more enticing.
It would also give tourists a better idea of what they’re getting – that it’s a fragrant dish made with coconut milk and served with a variety of sides.
I also think that it would be a good idea to offer a variety of flavors, so that tourists can try different versions of the dish.
For example, some restaurants offer nasi lemak with different types of sauces or with different toppings. This would make it more interesting and give tourists more options.
I think that by renaming nasi lemak to sound more high class and making the presentation more attractive, it would be more likely to attract tourists and make them more likely to try it.
It would also be a great way to show off our national dish and share its delicious flavor with the world.
