I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of becoming an airline flight attendant.
After all, who wouldn’t want to travel the world and get paid for it?
For years, I’ve been applying to any and all airlines that I could find, trying my luck at getting a job as an attendant.
Unfortunately, after nearly 20 attempts, I still haven’t been successful.
It all started a couple of years ago when I decided to try my luck at a local airline’s flight attendant interview.
I spent weeks studying, rehearsing and preparing for the interview. I had a great feeling about it and was sure that I would nail it
As I walked into the interview room, all my hopes and dreams of becoming a flight attendant were dashed.
The interviewer seemed uninterested in my qualifications and was very dismissive of my answers. I felt like I was doing everything I could to make a good impression, but it was all for naught.
After the interview, the admin came by and called out those who were rejected and told us to apply again in the future.
This happened consecutively for a few interviews.
I was so disappointed that I decided to take a break from applying for a while. I thought that maybe if I gave it some time, my luck would change.
So I waited a few months and then decided to give it another shot. This time, I prepared even more thoroughly, studying materials and doing practice interviews.
I was sure that I was ready and this time I would get the job.
But, yet again, the same thing happened. I was rejected, and the interviewer seemed uninterested in me.
I was crushed. I tried the same airline a few more times, but each time the response was the same.
I was starting to get desperate and thought that maybe if I applied to a different airline, I would have better luck.
I applied to several different airlines, but all of them rejected me as well.
Each time, I was rejected and was told to apply again in the future.
At this point, I was starting to lose hope and was feeling like I was never going to get a job as a flight attendant.
I started to feel like I had wasted all this time and energy trying to become a flight attendant, only to be rejected.
But I don’t want to give up my dreams of flying.
