Details of the Incident
According to reports, Chen was seen roaming the corridors of the condominium wielding a baseball bat, striking neighbors’ doors and causing panic among residents. He even filmed his actions and shared the video on social media.
When police arrived at the scene, they found Chen in his room with a 25-year-old Thai party entertainer, who was also under the influence of drugs. Initially uncooperative, Chen eventually allowed officers to search his premises.

- 6.56 grams of crystal methamphetamine
- Drug paraphernalia
- Eight mobile phones
- Two 9mm bullets
- Nine baseball bats
- Two steel tactical batons

Both Chen and the Thai entertainer tested positive for crystal meth.
Background Information
Chen was reportedly in Thailand on a student visa but had not attended any classes. Instead, he hosted drug parties in his room, disturbing other residents. He openly flaunted Thai laws by posting videos of himself using drugs and sharing explicit content involving party entertainers on social media.
In his defense, Chen claimed that he had been using crystal meth for over a year and purchased it from local teenagers. He stated that the baseball bats were for exercise and that the bullets were souvenirs from a shooting range.

Chen now faces two charges:
- Section 162 of the Narcotics Control Act: Use of a Category 1 narcotic, punishable by up to one year in prison, a fine of up to 20,000 baht, or both.
