While shopping for food overseas or online may be convenient, consumers should exercise caution. Consumers have a role in protecting themselves, and must be aware that such food items may not meet our food safety standard and requirements.
As a general guide, consumers should purchase food from reputable sources, such as majo supermarkets and retailers. When in doubt of the source or safety of the food product, do not purchase or consume it.
