The accident occurred on the night of 18 July 2025, at around 10:50pm, in the vicinity of 900 Bedok North Road, close to the NSMen Chalet area. The man’s wife, Hazura, took to social media after receiving an eyewitness account, which revealed that a passer-by — believed to be a Chinese man — had administered CPR “multiple times” before the ambulance arrived.

The heartfelt appeal, posted on Facebook, describes how this unknown man didn’t give up on her husband and even performed mouth-to-mouth resuscitation in an attempt to revive him. According to witnesses, he persisted in his efforts until professional medical personnel arrived at the scene.

‘Please Help Me Thank Him’

In her post, Hazura wrote:

“I am looking for this gentleman — a Chinese man who was present at my husband’s accident on 18 July 2025 near 900 Bedok North Road (NSMen Chalet area) around 10:50PM. He performed CPR on my late husband and tried his best, even doing mouth-to-mouth multiple times to help revive him before the ambulance arrived. Witnesses saw how he did not give up, and for that, I am forever grateful.”

She added that her intention is purely to express her gratitude, not to assign blame or responsibility.

“If you know who this man is — or if you are him — please contact me privately. I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. May Allah/God bless you with the greatest rewards for your kindness and humanity.”

The post has been widely shared online, with netizens hoping the message will reach the man in question. Her plea has also caught the attention of local media outlets such as Shin Min Daily News and Mothership.sg.

A Reminder of the Power of Kindness

While the tragic accident has left Hazura and her family grieving, she hopes that this act of compassion will not go unnoticed. Her message serves as a powerful reminder that even in moments of tragedy, the kindness of strangers can bring comfort.

If you or someone you know has any information about the man who stepped in to help that night, you’re urged to reach out or share the post to help Hazura find him.
