How do I deal with a friend who feels the need to brag every chance she gets?
I have a friend whom I’ve known for over 15 years. We recently connected, and I love talking to her it’s just she has this thing where she’s constantly bragging about her life.
I’m not trying to think badly about her, but it seems she’s competing with me.
I’ve told her many times that I’m happy for her, and I am! but that doesn’t seem to be enough.
She’s married with 2 kids, and I’m her only single friend. She’s always sending me pictures of things her husband buys her, or if he does something nice for her.
Which I am ok with, but when the conversations are 90 percent that I start to wonder.
I’m in no way jealous of her, but I’m starting to feel she wants me to be, so badly. It’s to the point where I’m too annoyed to have a conversation now.
I want to be her friend still because she isn’t a bad person, but this is really getting out of hand. Any advice?
