PRC Woman In Viral AirAsia Flight: Spotted In Kuala Lumpur With Stacks of Cash, Limo Ride

A Chinese woman who recently went viral over an inflight dispute aboard an AirAsia flight has reportedly resurfaced online after sharing videos of her visit to Kuala Lumpur.

The woman drew widespread attention across Asian social media platforms after allegedly causing a disturbance on AirAsia Flight D7809 on Apr. 22, an incident that reportedly delayed the aircraft by around two hours.

Now, fresh videos circulating on Douyin appear to show the same woman enjoying tourist activities in Malaysia, including visits to the iconic Petronas Twin Towers.

Videos Of KL Trip Spread Across Social Media

According to online posts, the woman livestreamed herself near the Petronas Twin Towers on Apr. 25 at around 9pm.

In one clip, she reportedly made a “V” hand gesture towards the camera without speaking. The livestream quickly attracted attention from viewers who recognised her from the earlier flight drama.

She later uploaded additional videos allegedly showing her sightseeing around Kuala Lumpur, dining at restaurants, travelling in a limousine, and displaying stacks of Malaysian ringgit cash.

The clips were rapidly reposted across social media platforms in Malaysia and China, reigniting discussions surrounding the earlier airline incident.

Some netizens viewed the uploads as an attempt to show off her luxury travel experience, while others criticised the intense online scrutiny surrounding her identity and movements.

Flight Incident Previously Triggered Online Debate

The woman is believed to be the same passenger involved in the AirAsia Chongqing flight incident that went viral earlier this month.

Based on accounts shared online by passengers, tensions allegedly began after some of her friends failed to board the aircraft. Witnesses claimed she became upset and confronted cabin crew members loudly while continuing to make phone calls after boarding.

The situation reportedly escalated when she allegedly refused to communicate in English and requested a Mandarin-speaking crew member instead.

Authorities were eventually called, and she was reportedly escorted off the aircraft before departure.

Videos from the incident circulated widely online, generating heated debate among netizens in Malaysia and China over passenger behaviour, airline procedures, and cultural misunderstandings during international travel.

Mixed Reactions From Malaysian Netizens

Following her arrival in Kuala Lumpur, reactions online have remained divided.

Some Malaysians expressed concern that another public disturbance could occur during her stay, while others questioned why her personal movements were continuing to attract so much online attention.

Several users also raised concerns over online privacy, noting how quickly individuals involved in viral incidents can become targets of social media tracking and public commentary.

The incident reflects how viral travel controversies increasingly extend beyond the original event itself, especially when videos continue spreading across platforms such as Douyin, TikTok, and X.
