The victim, identified as 25-year-old online seller Panitsuda Hattadol, was found dead on the evening of May 2 inside a condominium building in Bang Bua Thong district. Authorities said her body was discovered beside a bed in a fourth-floor unit, with two pillows covering her head.

Investigators who arrived at the scene found signs of a violent struggle inside the apartment. Furniture and belongings were reportedly scattered across the room, suggesting a confrontation had taken place before the woman’s death.

Thai police later confirmed that preliminary forensic investigations pointed towards homicide.

Suspect Allegedly Fled Across Thailand After Killing

The main suspect was identified as the victim’s boyfriend, 33-year-old Nittirun Laosuksantisawong, who also worked as an online vendor. According to investigators, the man disappeared shortly after the incident and could not be contacted.

Police revealed that officers discovered a handwritten diary allegedly belonging to the suspect inside the condominium unit. In the writings, he reportedly claimed that unnamed individuals were trying to harm him and requested that his cat and personal belongings be looked after.

Authorities quickly launched a manhunt after surveillance footage allegedly showed the suspect fleeing the area. Investigators tracked his movements across several provinces after he reportedly abandoned a red Mazda 2 vehicle in Suphan Buri before continuing his journey north by bus.

The suspect was eventually arrested at the Choktawee Smile Hotel in Chiang Mai province. Officers detained him in Room 515 following coordination between regional police units and the issuance of an arrest warrant by the Nonthaburi Provincial Court.

The man now faces an intentional murder charge under Thai law.

Victim’s Family Prepares Funeral Rites

Following the completion of forensic procedures, the victim’s body was released to her family. Her mother, 59-year-old Mukda Suksamer, has since transported the body back to Yasothon province, where religious funeral rites will be conducted.
