The violent incident took place shortly after midnight on May 26 at a residential building in Soi Krom Theedin 3 in Pattaya, Thailand.

Police officers and rescue workers arrived at the location after receiving reports of a woman suffering severe injuries inside a third-floor room.

When authorities entered the room, they found the 30-year-old victim, identified only as Prayaphat, lying beside the bed with a deep wound to her neck.

Emergency responders administered first aid before rushing her to hospital for urgent treatment.

The suspect had already escaped before police arrived.

Argument Over Missing Money May Have Led To Attack

According to local reports, an 18-year-old acquaintance known only as Tae had visited the victim earlier that evening before leaving around 9pm.

Tae told investigators that Prayaphat’s boyfriend, identified as Boss, was also inside the room at the time.

However, when Tae returned at about 11pm, he allegedly discovered the victim badly injured on the floor beside the bed.

He reportedly rushed downstairs to alert the building caretaker, who then contacted emergency services.

Tae claimed the couple may have argued over 700 baht, approximately S$28, which the boyfriend was accused of stealing.

While Tae said he did not witness the actual attack, police are treating Boss as the main suspect in the case.

CCTV Footage Allegedly Shows Suspect Fleeing

Investigators later inspected the room and reviewed CCTV footage from the building as part of their investigation.

According to Thai media reports, surveillance footage allegedly showed Boss running out of the room shortly before the victim was discovered injured.

Police are now tracing the suspect’s movements and checking locations he is known to frequent in an effort to locate and arrest him.

Authorities are also reviewing additional CCTV footage from surrounding streets and nearby routes believed to have been used during the escape.

The case has drawn significant attention online amid growing concerns over violent crimes and domestic disputes in Pattaya.

In a separate case mentioned by local media, another transwoman in Thailand was recently found dead in a roadside forest in Roi Et province after suffering multiple stab wounds.

Police investigations into the Pattaya incident remain ongoing.
