A chaotic fight involving several men erupted outside Zouk Singapore in the early hours of June 20, with videos of the incident quickly spreading across social media and prompting comparisons to a WWE Royal Rumble match.

The incident reportedly took place at around 3am outside the popular nightlife venue at Clarke Quay, where crowds were still present after a night of partying.

A video uploaded by Instagram page SGFollowsAll captured the dramatic scene, showing multiple men chasing each other before a larger scuffle unfolded.

One individual could be seen lying on the ground while another appeared to strike him. Moments later, another man sprinted towards someone wearing a green hoodie and tackled him to the floor, only for the latter to respond with a kick to the midsection.

Within seconds, several more men rushed into the fray, surrounding one person who had already fallen to the ground.

Night Out Turns Into Street Brawl

While the exact cause of the altercation remains unclear, the incident has reignited discussions about late-night behaviour at Singapore’s entertainment districts.

Fortunately, no one was reportedly taken to hospital following the incident.

The viral clip amassed more than 160,000 views online, with many Singaporeans expressing disappointment over the behaviour displayed.

Some criticised those involved, saying nightlife should be about enjoying oneself responsibly rather than engaging in violence.

One commenter wrote that people should be going clubbing to have fun instead of acting like hooligans.

Others took a more light-hearted approach, joking that the participants looked more like children playing a game of tag than adults involved in an actual fight.

Netizens Joke About ‘SG Royal Rumble’

Perhaps the most popular reaction came from Telegram users, with one person jokingly asking: “So who won the SG Royal Rumble?”

The remark references the famous multi-person elimination match format from the world of professional wrestling.

Although many found humour in the situation, others pointed out that such incidents can easily escalate and result in serious injuries.

The latest altercation also follows several recent public fights across Singapore, including incidents outside entertainment venues and even aboard public transport.

As nightlife returns to pre-pandemic levels, authorities and venue operators may face increasing pressure to ensure public safety and discourage anti-social behaviour before a night of partying turns into something far more dangerous.
