Another Fatal Fall Reported Along Yishun Ring Road As 26-Year-Old Woman Dies

A 26-year-old woman has died after a fall from height at a Housing and Development Board (HDB) block in Yishun during the early hours of Saturday morning.

The incident took place at Block 257 Yishun Ring Road at around 1.10am on July 11. Emergency services were alerted to the case and responded shortly afterwards.

The woman was found unconscious and conveyed to hospital for medical treatment. Despite efforts to assist her, she later passed away.

Emergency Services Responded In Early Hours

According to the Singapore Police Force (SPF), officers were alerted to the incident at approximately 1.10am.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) also received a call for assistance at about 1.15am and dispatched paramedics to the scene.

The woman was subsequently transported to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital in an unconscious condition.

Authorities later confirmed that she passed away after being admitted for treatment.

Residents in the area reported seeing activity around the block following the incident, while workers were later observed cleaning the affected area near the rear of the residential block.

Police Do Not Suspect Foul Play

Based on preliminary investigations, police said there is currently no indication of foul play.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident remain ongoing.

The case comes less than a week after another fatal fall from height incident was reported elsewhere along Yishun Ring Road.

In that earlier case, a 78-year-old man was found lying motionless at the foot of a residential block. He was pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics.

Police similarly stated that no foul play was suspected in that incident.
