
According to a media release by the Police, an incident was reported to the Police on the 24th of October 2019 at around 10.44 am in the morning.
The reported incident is related to a loanshark harassment incident that happened at an HDB unit along Woodlands Drive 62. The perpetrator left behind splashes of paint on the front door and leave behind graffiti writing. The usual “O$P$”.
The police were able to identify the person behind the loanshark activity after ground investigations and Police CCTV. An 18-year-old was arrested, the police were able to find further information on the young man’s other loanshark activities which happened island-wide.
Anyone convicted of Loanshark harassment can face up to 5-years-old of jail and up to 6 strokes of the rotan.
