MAN DIED AFTER HE WAS LICKED BY DOG

USA, Washington – A 63-year-old man was admitted to the hospital for pain on his left leg and suffered from flu-like symptoms and difficulty in breathing.

The doctor discovered that his kidneys were failing and had a low supply of oxygen in his body.

Initially, doctors were dumbfounded and did not know what was wrong with him, the man did not have any obvious wounds and the doctors had to send him for a blood test.

The blood test revealed that bacteria commonly found in the saliva of household pets such as cats or dogs. The bacteria itself does not harm cats or dogs but can be deadly if transmitted to humans.

This Bacteria known as C. Canimorsus are normally transmitted when a dog or cat bites.

Researchers advise pet owners with flu-like symptoms to seek medical care quickly. As 25% of such people contracted with C. Canimorsus dies.

The man suffered from brain diseases, kidney failure and was put on a breathing machine and passed away 16 days later.
