7 MCDONALDS EMPLOYEES TESTED POSITIVE, WORKED 9 OUTLETS BEFORE CLOSE DOWN

Initially, Mcdonald’s Singapore closed retail operations but still allowed delivery and drive-thru. Almost immediately on the next day, Mcdonalds cease operations after they receive directions from Ministry Of Health(MOH)

The Director of MOH, gave directions to Mcdonald’s Singapore to halt and suspend operations to prevent further spread of the Coronavirus.

Mcdonalds will reopen on the 4 May.

First Mcdonald’s Cluster started on the 12th April

A total of five employees that worked at three outlets were uncovered on 12th April

They worked at:

  • Forum Galleria
  • Parklane
  • Geylang East Central.

MOH announced 2 more cases linked to Mcdonald’s cluster on the 16 & 17 April 2020.

Total of 7 employees that worked in 9 different outlets.

The case numbers are 1973, 2066, 2096, 2302, 2084, 3217 and 4579.
