NEA & POLICE CONDUCTING HOME CHECKS DURING CB IS FAKE

According to a Facebook post by the Singapore Police Force, a false rumour had been circulating on social media and messaging platforms. The false rumours states that NEA and police officers conducting checks on household to ensure circuit breaker measures enforced are fake.

The message that is circulating claims to be originated from a friend of an NEA staff, the message state not to go visiting during Hari Raya so as to avoid been fined

Although the news is fake, the Singapore Police Force continues to urge the members of the public to “comply with safe distancing measures, including NO gatherings with family or friends who do not live together.”

[FALSE RUMOUR ON NEA AND POLICE CHECKS ON RESIDENTIAL UNITS TO ENFORCE CIRCUIT BREAKER MEASURES]

The Police would like to clarify that a RUMOUR circulating on social media and text messaging platforms claiming that officers from the National Environment Agency and the Singapore Police Force are visiting residential units during Hari Raya to nab persons who flout circuit breaker measures is FALSE.
