Exclusively Mongrels, the welfare group who exposed the Loki controversy has sent a letter via their lawyers from Eugene Thuraisingam LLP to Mount Pleasant Vet Centre (Changi).
The Vet was alleged to have performed eutanasia on Loki, a healthy dog, who was abandoned by its owners.
The lawyer letter which was sent to Mount Pleasant Vet Centre questioned the following :
- What was the date of Loki’s demise?
- Was the euthanisation classified as a non-elective or emergency procedure under the prevailing Circuit Breaker measures?
- What steps were taken by you before the decision was made to euthanise Loki?
- Were you aware that Loki’s owners were contractually bound not to (euthanise) Loki?
Exclusively Mongrels state on their Facebook page :
Earlier today, our solicitors from Eugene Thuraisingam LLP sent the following letter to Mount Pleasant Vet Centre (Changi) to seek clarifications about Loki’s euthanisation. Our letter is published in full. We look forward to their response.
Gentle reminder: please do not speculate which vet performed the procedure as this may amount to doxxing.

Mount Pleasant Vet Group has yet to respond.
