
In a press release by the multi-task agency, Minister Gan Kim Yong and Minister Lawrence Wong address the nation that there will three phases of different activities before Singapore can resume our social lives.
Phase 1 (Starts from June 2, will take at least 4 weeks)
- Some business reopen
- Household can have 2 visitors a day but both visitors must be from the same household
- Pri 6, Sec 4 and Sec 5 students return to school, other students will alternate between going school and home learning
- Pre-schools will open 100% on the 10 June
- Marriage solemnisation can take place with a maximum capacity of 10 people
Phase 2 (Gradually open in a few months)
- Dine-in at F&B outlets, retail shops, gym, tuition centres
- all students will return to school for classes
- reopen of gyms and other sports facilities
Phase 3 (Start when there is a vaccine)
Social events religious events, business events to open but with limited participant size
Minister Gan Said:
Phase 1: to open carefully, cautiously and safely this will take a few weeks for us to put in place these measures. This may comprise several steps is not a single step, it involves several steps of measures to put in place and some of these restrictions may be rolled back over.
It may involve months, may take several months before we are able to complete phase 2 and at the end of these two we will arrive at phase 3, which is a safe Singapore safe Nation

Singaporeans will be disappointed, many have been hoping that with the end of the circuit breaker they will be able to go out socializing with your friends to meet their families and relatives and even dine together, unfortunately, all of these activities will have to wait and I hope everyone understands why this is necessary
