According to a media release, the infamous fishmonger who spat at a butcher at Tekka Market after a heated argument was fined $300 for breaching safe distancing measures.
The 68-year-old fishmonger was caught on CCTV quarrelling with a butcher. She then starts to hit the butcher before spitting on his face and arm. The fishmonger was later issued with a $300 fine for breaching the circuit breaker measure.
After the incident, the butcher went to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for further check-up. Both of them were no longer in talking terms after the incident. They used to be friends and neighbour for 11 years.
According to the media release, the butcher has lodged a magistrate’s complaint in regards to the incident and he has yet forgiven the fishmonger for her irresponsible action.
