MAN REFUSED TO WEAR HIS MASK @ HillV2, WALK AWAY AFTER BEING REMINDED

According to a FB post shared by FB user Kenneth Choo, he had spotted a caucasian man without wearing a mask even though he had one in his hand at HillV2 mall today (Jun 14) at 1.40 pm.

According to the FB user, he has reminded the man that it is compulsory to put on a mask while outside his residence.

The man ignored him and walk away and uttered something in a foreign language along this way.

His FB Post:

“HV2 Mall 140pm June 14: took these photos of a guy who refused to wear a mask even as I kindly reminded him it’s for public safety and current laws. He continued walking away and uttered something in a foreign language which I couldn’t understand. No exceptions regardless right!”

As of 02 Jun 2020, Singapore has officially ended the circuit breaker. However, some of the circuit breaker measures such as safe distancing and wearing a mask while outside is still in place.

According to the COVID-19 temporary act, anyone caught without a mask when outside their residence will be fined $300 for first time offender. As for repeat offenders, they be fine $1,000 for their offence.
