Facebook user, Steve Wong, took to Facebook to post on his unpleasant experience he wad when he ordered durians from Durian Delivery Singapore. It was alleged that he was served rotten durians and he also was given the wrong type of durians.
Here is what he stated in his post.
This is the first time I write a Fb post on bad durian experience , so pls excuse my poor grammar.
This past Monday, 15th June 2020 at 6pm, I saw a Facebook post on durians, decided to order some golden Phoenix durians from Durian Delivery Singapore.
That’s where the nightmare began. 😡😡
Their Durian box arrived at 8pm, I opened the box and saw unusual texture of the fruits inside. Thought it’s my own imagination. Proceeded to eat from the box, then realized that the seeds are unusually-shaped like a mushroom.

Throughout my years of eating GP, I have never encountered such seed shaped. Was suspicious and took photos and asked on Facebook n gotten confirmation that it was actually another breed called Black Pearl.
This is when I saw the base of the durian rojak is quite rotten and mushy and extremely moist, something like a decomposed mess. Eaten a few seeds and immediately stopped eating, left the rest in the box as evidence.

Asked the Vendor and he claimed that it’s an honest mistake and his guys mixed up the different durian cos all same yellow color?! This is a big vendor dealing with many orders daily, mind you.
Very insincere reply to my bad experience, seemed like it’s quite common and frequent SOP for them to handle such situations by cut and paste, giving me a replacement code and want to shove the case into the pipeline.

Been hearing some bad review about Durian Delivery Singapore from my colleagues, hence I suspect they operate like insurance company, take massive orders, mix all types of rojak durian to cheat massive innocent crowds, and only give replacement to Lao Jiao Customers who can distinguish the correct durian and actually make complaints ( which is small % ) while the rest of the crowd just eat in blurness, hence massive profits for them. This is unethical and dishonest and I won’t allow this.
I told them they need to refund me, cover my medical bill in case of food poisoning and get me a replacement GP box for my traumatic experience and totally consumed my time on this.
They continue to act blur and pretend nothing is wrong. Today I saw they import masssive quantities of durians again, and hope the consumer will be careful of their antics.
Below is the photos and ways to distinguish the correct durian you ordered, pls dun get cheated by them like me.
I will make a report to CASE also.
