Only a week after the reopening of IKEA Alexandra on the first day of Post-Circuit Breaker Phase 2 (which saw snaking queues outside), the multi-level store is temporarily closed again.
At around 4pm today (June 27), a flurry of visitors could be seen dawdling outside the IKEA building.

In a statement released by IKEA on their Facebook page, they said that there was a “minor incident” involving a pieve of logistics equipment in the warehouse.
But thankfully no one was hurt.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) were also at the scene to ensure that everything was fine, with both customers and workers evacuated as an “added safety measure.”
IKEA also added that the outlet will be closed temporarily and that they are working towards reopening the doors again at 7pm later today (June 27).
The furniture giant also expressed their regret for any inconvenience caused.
