Popular local restaurant Founder Bak Kut Teh has fallen on hard times.

The popular restaurant has seen visits from many famous celebrities who are fans of their Bak Kut Teh, most notably Jay Chou – who once showed up unannounced for the founder Mr Chua Chwee Huatt’s 73rd birthday.
The second generation owner has posted a plea on Facebook: Help save the 42 year old business or it will be gone for good.
Due to Covid-19, business has reduced by 85 percent over the past five months.
