Veteran Getai host Wang Lei was accused of handling fish at his home without wearing gloves, he was allegedly summoned by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) for 4 hours of questioning.

In a live broadcast last night, he said he believes that someone who saw his previous fish selling video thought he didn’t wear gloves when he picked up the fish, so a report was made to the authorities.
Wang added: “I was in my own hoe at the time, not in public. Could I break the law without wearing gloves?”
Wang also joked, asking if it is possible the people will complain about unhygienic practices when using the toilet at home?
He said that if he were caught smoking in a place where it isn’t allowed or violates any other rules and got caught, he would gladly and willingly accept the complaint. But he insisted that it is unreasonable to be complained for not wearing gloves inside his own home.
He also added that he is already 60 years old and he would never do anything illegal.
