On Saturday, August 15, a 20-year-old man was arrested for his suspected involvment in a case of attempted aggravated outrage of modesty.

The alleged incident happened at a void deck along Bukit Batok West Avenue 4.
A 21-year-old woman made a police report saying an unknown man grabbed her from the back and covered her mouth with a shirt.
Officers from the Jurong Police Division thusly followed up with investigations and using images from CCTV and police cameras, were able to establish the identity of the man and subsequently arrested him.
The man will be charged in court on Monday with attempted aggravated outrage of modesty.

If convicted, he faces up to 10 years imprisonment and caning.
