This is a program meant to bridge the digital divide in Singapore and to provide access to the internet for the low-income community in Singapore, especially those in rental flats.

The programme is slated to begin with the void decks at blocks 244 and 245, at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3, because there will be a study corner that is due to be constructed soon.

The organisation said that they chose void decks because it is a low cost way of benefitting more people.

They added that: “A single internet subscription can benefit and provide accessibility to an entire block.”
