SINGAPORE TO LIFT BORDER RESTRICTIONS. GENERAL TRAVEL TO BE ALLOWED

The MTF announced today (Aug 21) that general travel will be lifted. The countries which are allowed are Brunei and New Zealand. Travel for overseas studies will also be allowed.

The MTF stated that the lifting of border restrictions were implemented as they have monitored the situation and that there are several countries where the risked of importation is low.

Singapore will also allow the entry of visitors from Brunei and New Zealand into Singapore. Those coming into Singapore will still be subjected to a Covid-19 test upon arrival.
