14-YEAR-OLD BOY WHO DROWNED AT CHANGI BEACH, WAS QUIET AND FILIAL TO PARENTS

The 14-year-old teenage boy, Putera Muhammad Indra Shazrine Suzaini, who drowned at Changi Beach Park on August 22, was known to be obedient and filial to his parents, as well as being “timid”, according to Shin Min Daily News.

Straits Times reported that the boy was “very quiet” and “very good to his mother and father”.

Condolences came pouring in online for the boy’s family.

Over 50 people consisting of Putera’s family and friends came to his family home in Yishun.

Putera was revealed to be buried at Choa Chu Kang cemetery yesterday (August 23), by Umayrah Hts (via Facebook), who referred to the boy as her late nephew.

Facebook user Raff Da also referred to Putera as their grandchild in a Facebook post, as his body was seen wrapped in white cloth before the burial.
