3 MALAYSIAN ARRESTED FOR DRUG-RELATED OFFENCE, $163,000 WORTH OF HEROIN SEIZED

According to the Immigration & Checkpoint Authorities (ICA), 3 Malaysian men aged between 23 to 37 years old were arrested for their suspected involvement in drug-related activities.

The incident happened on the 27 Aug 2020 at 5.40 pm, the 3 suspects were arrested in a joint operation conducted between ICA and the Singapore Police Force (SPF) at Tuas Checkpoint. In the process, more than 2 Kg of Heroin was found in a Malaysia registered lorry which is estimated to be worth about $163,000.

The case was handed over to the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) and investigations are ongoing.
