A Japanese man had created quite a scene after he refused to wear a mask while onboard of domestic flight from Kushiro in Hokkaido to Kansai airport in Western Japan.
According to a local media, the man was asked to put on a mask but he refused to follow the instructions. He then threatened the crew after he was handed a warning notice. The crew then asked the other passengers sitting near him to move further away from the man to minimise the risk of COVID-19 spreading.
The flight was delayed due to the man selfishness and he continued to behave ridiculously even after take off. He begins to shout at the other passengers and ignored the crew when they tried to calm him down.
In the end, the captain of the flight decided to make an unscheduled landing at Niigata Airport to offload the man, after considering that the man was risking the safety of everyone else on board.
The airline is intending to seek compensation from the man for disrupting the flight which affected 124 passengers.
