A picture of a wrecked SMRT bus is circulating on Instagram.

There was purportedly a collision between the bus (bus 169) and a garbage truck, leaving the front of the bus completely wrecked, with the windshielf and windows shattered.
5 people were taken to hospital following the crash, although it is unclear if any of the 5 victims were bus passengers.
The incident purportedly happened at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1, going towards Boundary Road, on September 15 at about 8.30am.
