Today 27 september, i ended school at 1.40pm and are required to reach yio chu kang by 2pm. When i am in the cab, i found out that my wallet only has $15 and i did not bring my posb card! I ask the uncle if $15 is enough from bukit batok to yio chu kang. He told me it is enough so i went to the destination without worries.
The meter fare has already pass $12 and i have not reached my destination yet. I ask the uncle again, uncle, is $15 really enough, by the time i reach yio chu kang. Surprisingly he said.. boy dont worry about the taxi fare…as he knows i only has $15 and i am actually rushing there for works event. When i reached there, the taxi fare were $18.22..and surprisingly, he only took $10 from and said..the $5 u go and buy food for urself.
I am shocked and i said uncle why not u give me ur phone numbers and i will return u the remaining amount. He replied no its okay..its a discount for u. U can buy food with the remaning $5 later. I thank the uncle alot and left his taxi.
