
Following the recent accident that happened on the expressway that involved a cyclist, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) and Land Transport Authority (LTA) have issued a joint statement to warn cyclist not to cycle on the expressways.

Recently, various videos of cyclist cycling on the expressways have been circulating on social media.
According to the law, cyclists are not allowed to be on expressways which include Power Assist Bicycle (PAB) as well. Any cyclists who are caught cycling on the expressways could be fined up to $2,000 or jailed for up to 6 months.
The authorities will not hesitate to enforce against any road users who had broken the rules.
