According to a media release, a 21-year-old SCDF NSF was caught stealing an ambulance from Seng Kang Firestation and drove it to meet his girlfriend at her condominium. On 04 Nov the NSF pleaded guilty to one count of theft and cheating.

According to the court document, the incident happened on 12 Mar 2020 when the NSF pretended to be an off-duty EMS officer to enter the fire station. After entering the station, the NSF spotted an ambulance that was parked at the ambulance bay with the engine left running.

He then proceeds to hop on to the ambulance and started to play with the blinker light before driving the vehicle out of the compound. A team of firefighters were later dispatched out to located the ambulance after it was discovered missing.

Not long after, the SCDF firefighters spotted the ambulance when it was entering the condominium where the NSF was later detained. The NSF was later arrested by the authorities.
