The diseased Chen Chunbao, 41, from Batu Pahat, Johor, came to work as a carpenter in Singapore two or three years ago. He had an accident in his dormitory in the Woodlands Industrial. The cause of death was a heart attack.

Chen Chunbao left his 40-year-old wife and four sons, aged 18 and 15, as well as 11-year-old and 8-year-old daughters, who have been living in Malaysia all this time.

The deceased is the only source of income for the family. He still needs to provide housing and also expenses for the eldest son to go to university.
