A 41-year-old Malaysian carpenter died of a heart attack due to him being overworked. He left his wife and four children who left his family in financial trouble. A kind-hearted businessman from Singapore sympathized with the situation of the deceased’s family donated $10,000, hoping to cheer and warm up the family of the deceased and help them tide over the difficulties.
The diseased Chen Chunbao, 41, from Batu Pahat, Johor, came to work as a carpenter in Singapore two or three years ago. He had an accident in his dormitory in the Woodlands Industrial. The cause of death was a heart attack.
Chen Chunbao left his 40-year-old wife and four sons, aged 18 and 15, as well as 11-year-old and 8-year-old daughters, who have been living in Malaysia all this time.
The deceased is the only source of income for the family. He still needs to provide housing and also expenses for the eldest son to go to university. He came to his new job to make more money, and almost all of his salary was sent home every month. Now that he suddenly passed away, Ma Guo’s wife Xiaodun lost support.
The kind-hearted businessman hopes that through this donation, his family will know that they are not alone, and he hopes to encourage them to face the future bravely. “I hope his children will not give up, study hard, take good care of their mother when they grow up, and persevere.”
The businessmen also pointed out that the current epidemic is not easy for everyone, and hopes to encourage more people not to give up, to help each other, and continue to spread positive energy and love.
The wife of the deceased, Chen Linle (40 years old) said: “I still cannot accept the death of my husband, but I am very grateful for the help and encouragement of kind people. I will continue for the sake of my children. Thank you for your concern.”
