Earlier today 18 Jan, a man was sentenced to 12 years of preventive detention. This was a repeated offence done by him.

Salim Abdul Rahman, 61, was recently just released from PD from a previous molesting case on 2009. He was released from prison on 27 Dec 2019.
About 10 months after he’s released, he started targeting a girl(10years old) on 1 Oct 2020. When Salim saw her on the bus, he has already decided to targetted the child.
They went down the bus at the same stop, and Salim decided to strike a conversation with her. Salim then took her to a nearby block and that’s when the dirty deed happen.
Salim pleaded guilty on December 2020 and was sentenced on 18 Jan 2021.
